Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions govern the hire of equipment from Mobility Scooters Mallorca / Lowerhire (“we”, “us”, “our”). By placing a booking you agree to these terms in full.

1. Booking & Cancellation

  • Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of your completed booking form or verbal confirmation by our team.
  • Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the rental start date will receive a full refund.
  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of the rental start date may be subject to a cancellation fee.
  • We reserve the right to cancel a booking in exceptional circumstances. In such cases, a full refund will be issued.

2. Payment

  • Payment is due at the time of rental unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Valid photo identification (passport or national ID card) is required at the time of rental.
  • We accept cash and major credit/debit cards. Cheques are not accepted.
  • All prices are stated in Euros and include VAT unless otherwise indicated.

3. Delivery & Collection

  • Free delivery and collection is provided to most major resorts in Mallorca.
  • A delivery surcharge applies for locations outside our standard service area, including airport deliveries. Our team will advise you of any surcharge at the time of booking.
  • You must ensure an authorised adult is present at the delivery address to receive and sign for the equipment.
  • Equipment will be demonstrated at the time of delivery.

4. Equipment Care & Liability

  • The hirer is responsible for the safe keeping and responsible use of all equipment during the hire period.
  • Equipment must be returned in the same condition as it was delivered, allowing for reasonable wear and tear.
  • The hirer is liable for any loss of or damage to the equipment caused by misuse, negligence, or accident.
  • Equipment must not be used in a manner inconsistent with its intended purpose or beyond its stated weight/usage limits.
  • In the event of mechanical failure through normal use, please contact us immediately and we will arrange a replacement.

5. Minimum Rental Periods

Minimum rental periods apply to certain items:

  • Electric wheelchairs and powerchairs: minimum 3 days
  • All other equipment: minimum rental periods will be advised at time of booking

6. Governing Law

These terms are governed by Spanish law. Any disputes arising from or related to your hire will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Spanish courts.
